Claire Greenwood

My art work is quite precise rather than loose so pencil crayons are my preferred medium as they are neat and smudge resistant but blend-able. I've been told on numerous occasions that my great love of animals shines through in my work.

I am also inspired by the passage of time and its effects on humans and their surroundings. I enjoy drawing faces full of character and age. I love to explore, photograph and then draw local urban areas. I see beauty in forgotten places and love the idea that I am helping them to become recognised once more.
