Lin Goodwin
Self-taught Lin has experimented in various mediums and genres and is a contemporary realist. Most of her work now is done in an armchair with a board across her lap as she is unable to sit at an easel. Because of this, she tried other mediums and fell in love with coloured pencils, pastels and more recently gouache. She also enjoys working in miniature. Lin has won a first in the pastels category and a section trophy both 2016 and 2017 in the Nuneaton Festival of Arts with her work on display at the town museum and gallery, for 'Happy Couple' (2016), a painting of 2 lions, Hyacinth (2017), a Macaw and Wild Dining (2017) a tiger eating.
Lin enjoys painting local scenes in pen and watercolour. Lin is a member of, and has exhibited with, The Wildlife Arts Society International exhibition at Nature In Art in Gloucestershire 2016 and 2017 and Dudley in 2016. |
